Building managers
Property managers across Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties keep our number on their emergency lists, and many commercial buildings have our crews on standby. When something happens, they make one call.
RMO serves Metro Detroit today. These pages describe where we plan to grow.
Middle East

Our office, our crews and our families are in Metro Detroit. We work alongside the companies, building managers and facilities that keep the region running, and when our neighbors need help, we give it, often for free.

We look after facilities that can't afford to stop: large office and commercial buildings, and Signature Aviation's facilities at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, for which we keep a team on standby.
RCO Cleaning and RHO Hiring share our office and our owners. Between the three of us we serve different parts of Metro Detroit: restoration, cleaning for commercial buildings and homes, and staffing for Michigan employers.
When a neighbor, a school, a place of worship or a community group needs help after a flood or a fire, we help. A lot of that work we do for free.
Our sister companies: RCO Cleaning and RHO Hiring. Read about the team behind all three on our About page.
When water got into buildings owned by people we have worked with for many years, we did the mitigation for free and covered every expense ourselves: the crews, the equipment, the drying.
That includes buildings in Southfield and Dearborn, and others across Metro Detroit. Long relationships are how we work, and standing by the people who stand by us is part of living and working here.

Every cost of the work was ours. It’s the same crew, the same equipment and the same standard as a paid job.
Spring and summer storms can put water into a basement fast. These checks help.
Pour a bucket of water into the pit and make sure the pump starts and empties it. A battery backup keeps it running if the storm knocks out power.
Clean the gutters, make sure downspouts are connected, and extend them several feet away from the walls.
A backwater valve can stop sewer water from coming up through floor drains. A plumber can tell you whether your building needs one.
Keep documents, photos and keepsakes in plastic bins on shelves, not in cardboard boxes on the basement floor.
Many policies don't cover sewer or drain backup unless you add it. Ask your agent before the storm, not after.

Pipes on outside walls and in unheated spaces are the ones most likely to freeze. Before the temperature drops:
We're open to working with block clubs, schools, places of worship, senior living communities and building associations that want practical preparedness information for their members. That could be a short talk on storm and freeze preparation, or a walk-through of what to do in the first hour after water damage.
If your organization is interested, call the office at 248-845-0000 and tell us what would be useful. We'll be straightforward about what we can offer.
